Le Chataignier

stone period house with attractive gardens and PRIVATE HEATED POOL.
Centrally heated, with a wood burning stove, original oak beams and ceramic
tiled floors, it is traditionally furnished, and equipped to a very high
standard. The centrally heated accommodation is on one level with shuttered
windows overlooking a paved patio, restored traditional bread oven and private
pool and garden area.

fully fitted kitchen has new oak cupboards, full hob and oven, fridge/freezer,
microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, table and chairs and a comprehensive
array of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and most importantly, glasses,
as the local wine is superb and must be sampled at your leisure.

A delightful character double bedroom with new fully tiled ensuite bathroom
with bath and over-bath shower.

A twin bedded room with attractive mellow stone wall and adjoining new

Outside
Back courtyard,
secure and private, a wonderful sun-strap, a peaceful retreat and a perfect
place for a quiet evening meal. Front terrace garden - Private and secure.
The garden is proud of its wonderful well-established trees, ancient four
à pain, working water pump and patio areas both around the 8m x 4m
shaped pool and under the magnificent horse-chestnut tree. Beneath the shade
of the chestnut tree there are tables, chairs, and a BBQ. The garden is
completely private with patio, trees and shrubs.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool, with Roman steps for easy access, measures 8m x 4m and
is heated from Easter until the end of October. The pool is fenced off in
accordance with French law.
A great deal of effort has been made to provide guests with every comfort and convenience. This includes electric fans, hairdryers in each bedroom, iron, a selection of novels and videos and a range of outside furniture and sun-loungers, BBQ, use of telephone and Table Tennis Table. Beds are freshly made up for your arrival and high quality personal towels, and beach towels for use around the pool area, are provided
Le Chataignier is a charming, very comfortable house ideal for couples or families. Its heated swimming pool, central heating and wood burning stove in the sitting room make it a perfect attractive holiday property throughout the year
While you are staying at 'Le Châtaignier' the garden and the pool will be attended to. There is an automatic watering system installed but we shall still have to discreetly go about the business of keeping everything perfect.
We would ask you to look after Le Châtaignier as though it was your own home. If unfortunately, you do happen to break or damage something then please notify us and replace it before you leave. We would also expect the house to be left clean and tidy.
