Sérénité is a large

The property is set in fabulous extensive, natural grounds. The centrally
heated accommodation is mostly on one level and is extremely spacious with
French doors leading to the large flagged patio, pool and huge natural wild
gardens. The property has tiled floors in the living area with large Chinese
rug in lounge and carpets in the upper level bedrooms. All rooms are furnished
in a comfortable traditional style.
The setting of the house is stunning.
An impressive mature weeping willow is the focal point of the garden which
then extends beyond to an overgrown oak coppice and natural grassy meadow
with small natural pool surrounded by trees. Wildlife abounds - from nuthatches,
pine martens, coypu, heron and buzzards to the occasional glimpse of elusive
deer.

Sitting Room
Two large 3
seater sofas plus 2 arm chairs, Satellite television, video recorder and
DVD player together with the imposing open fireplace and richly patterned
Chinese carpet give the very large airy sitting room a welcoming and comfortable
feel. Large French doors open onto a large patio providing a view over the
pool area and delightful grounds.
Dining Room
There is an
elegant dining room furnished to seat 8 in traditional style.

Kitchen
The kitchen is very
well equipped and fully fitted, full hob and oven, large fridge/freezer
dishwasher and microwave. The washing machine is housed in a small utility
room. There is a comprehensive array of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms
The main double bedroom boasts an impressive huge ensuite bathroom with
unusual circular mosaic tiled walk-in shower area and bidet. Two twin bedded
rooms share an additional large bathroom again with large circular mosaic
tiled walk-in shower area and bidet.

On the lower level
at the
back of the house, a staircase leads to a Games Room with Pool Table,
a further double bedroom and a newly appointed fully tiled ensuite bathroom
with bath and shower cubicle. The ground level can be reached either by
the internal staircase from the first floor or independently from the garden.

Swimming Pool - The swimming pool, with Roman steps for easy access, is close to the house and patio and measures 12 metres by 4metres. It is heated from Easter until the end of October. The pool is fenced off in accordance with French law. The wild uncultivated grounds provide a natural adventure playground for older children. The patio, accessible from the lounge, is the perfect place for BBQ's, relaxation or sampling the local wine. There is ample parking space at the rear of the property and garage space for two cars.

Sérénité is ideal for up to two families and will comfortably sleep eight people. Bed linen and towels are included within the rental fee. There is also a satellite TV, video and Hi-Fi offering alternative entertainment for all ages.
A great deal of effort has been made to provide guests
with every comfort and convenience. This includes: telephone,
large electric fans, hairdryers in each bedroom, iron and ironing board,
a selection of novels and videos and a range of outside furniture, sun loungers,
BBQ available on request.
Beds are freshly made up on arrival and high quality personal towels, and
beach towels for use around the pool area, are provided
Sérénité is a spacious comfortable house in an unusual and outstanding setting. It is ideal for families or groups. Its heated swimming pool, central heating and large open fire in the sitting room make it an attractive property throughout the year.
